We are pleased to present the latest installment of Banking Almanac, a comprehensive report on all Georgia banks and thrifts with data as of and for the twelve months ended June 30, 2022 as well as a comprehensive view of Community Bank performance, defined as banks with less than $2B in assets for banks in Georgia and the nation.
To provide an objective view of the ratios below, we used the Georgia banks and S & L’s under $2.0 billion in assets that filed Q2 Call Reports, ranked each of the banks by the four bank valuation metrics defined above and segmented the sample set into five equal quintiles. We report the range of measures and average bank asset size (in millions) in each quintile, and color code the quintiles where green is better, and red is worse. Metric information at the bank level can be found in the Almanac.
