Summary

PW&Co was retained as financial advisor by the City of Hueytown since 2022. In 2024, PW&Co served as financial advisor to the city in connection with its $1.935 million tax-exempt warrant offering used to fund multiple road improvement projects across the city. The financing team consisted of city management, bond counsel (Waldrep, Stewart & Kendrick), underwriter (Stifel Financial Corp.), underwriter’s counsel (Bradley Arant), and the city’s financial advisor (Porter White & Company).

PW&Co Role

PW&Co worked closely with the city to assess the feasibility and affordability of the project, develop financial projections and analysis, analyze alternate financing options, select and monitor the underwriting team, prepare information for rating agencies, and negotiate and structure the transaction.
